  25. Q.  How do I replace my current volume control with Wheel Volume?

  27. A.  This does depend on the kind of sound card installed in your machine.
  28. On most machines, you can accomplish this with the following:

  30.   Step 1.  Press the right mouse button (context menu) on your current volume
  31.            control, and choose the option for "Adjust Audio Properties."
  32.  
  33.   Step 2.  Find the option for "Show Volume on the TaskBar", and uncheck it.

  35.   Step 3.  Press the Apply button at the bottom.

  39. Q.  How do I put the old volume control back?

  41. A.  Again, this does depend on the kind of sound card installed on your
  42. machine.  Go into the Control Panel, and choose "Multimedia."  Then follow
  43. steps 2 through three in the previous question.

  47. Q.  I think I have found a bug.  How do I report it?

  49. A.  I am _very_ interested in making this program the best it can be.  Please

  53.   2.  Your sound card manufacturer and model.
  54.   3.  Your brand of wheel-based mouse.
  55.   4.  Any special drivers that were required for your wheel-based mouse.

  63. A.  I figured that's a good way to encourage the "heavier user" to become
  64. registered.  For $10, you can use the record controls by unlocking this
  65. feature with your registration code.
